Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and PAs) in pediatrics, primary care, and allergy. It may also be of benefit to other clinicians who are interested in the management of food allergy (FA).
Program Overview
Nurse practitioners and PAs are often the source of healthcare information for patients seeking guidance regarding whether their reactions to certain foods may be an allergy for which treatment may be appropriate. These clinicians will benefit from expert guidance regarding the definition of FA, referral for accurate diagnosis, and potential treatment options.
