Target Audience
This educational program is designed for pulmonologists, internal medicine clinicians, and nurse practitioners and physician assistants involved in the management of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Program Overview
COPD remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, with exacerbations driving disease progression, healthcare utilization, and diminished quality of life. Even with advances in inhaled therapies, clinicians continue to face real-world challenges, from recognizing and assessing exacerbations to integrating biomarker-guided care and applying evolving Global Initiative for Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) treatment pathways, including biologic options, in everyday practice.
In this interactive webcast expert faculty will discuss how to navigate key challenges, translate emerging evidence into clinical practice, and optimize care for your patients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply GOLD recommendations to escalate therapy in patients with COPD who experience exacerbations
- Differentiate clinical profiles of biologics currently approved for COPD
