Target Audience
The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of pediatric neurologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, advanced practice practitioners, speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and pediatricians.
Program Overview
As new therapies for Rett syndrome emerge, neurologists play a vital role in early diagnosis, treatment decisions, and coordinated care. In this interactive session, expert faculty—an academic and a community-based neurologist—will walk through real-world cases sourced from Sermo to explore key clinical decisions across the patient journey. Topics include recognizing early signs, interpreting genetic tests, initiating new therapies, and collaborating with specialists such as speech therapists and gastroenterologists. - Recognize the early manifestations of RTT to improve diagnostic accuracy and timelines
