Target Audience
This activity is intended for community oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician associates (PAs), and nurses who treat patients with non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Program Overview
This expert-led activity includes discussing evidence and expert recommendations on the use of genomic biomarker testing to support therapy selection for the personalized care of patients with NSCLC.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Review newer and emerging biomarkers and the implications for testing and treatment
- Apply evidence-based recommendations and best practices for comprehensive molecular testing to detect actionable genomic biomarkers at critical treatment decision points
- Select appropriate therapy based on genomic biomarker test results to support the personalized treatment of patients with NSCLC
- Describe practical strategies to monitor for and manage adverse events associated with targeted therapies for oncogene-driven NSCLC
