Program Overview
Join leading experts for a dynamic, case-based symposium focused on advancing individualized immunosuppression strategies in renal transplant. Explore current maintenance regimens, including calcineurin inhibitors, mTOR inhibitors, belatacept, and antimetabolites, while evaluating their efficacy, safety, and long-term outcomes. Delve into conversion strategies for patients experiencing therapy failures, and examine emerging immunosuppression therapies, including novel combinations and investigational approaches shaping the future of transplant care. Engage with a multidisciplinary expert panel to discuss practical applications, patient-centered decision-making, and strategies to optimize long-term safety, adherence, and quality of life for renal transplant recipients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Evaluate the clinical evidence supporting available and investigational maintenance immunosuppressive therapies to guide personalized management of renal transplant recipients
- Develop patient-centered strategies to optimize immunosuppressive regimen adjustments and conversion approaches in response to therapy failure or intolerance
- Integrate long-term safety, adherence, and quality of life considerations into individualized immunosuppression treatment planning
