Target Audience
This CME initiative is designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice providers, both physician assistants and nurse practitioners who specialize in rheumatology, involved in the care of patients with psoriatic arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis.
Program Overview
This program is designed to improve the ability of advanced practice professionals to take a treat-to-target approach to managing patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) conditions.
Learning Objectives
- Identify patients with active disease to prevent delays in treatment escalation to achieve low disease activity or remission
- Develop patient-specific treatment regimens for individuals with PsA and axSpA by advancing through Biologic DMARD (bDMARD) options
- Apply evidence-based guidelines in the treat-to-target management of patients with PsA or axSpA
