Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of neurology, primary care, OB/GYN, psychiatry, emergency, nursing, and healthcare practitioners with interest in Alzheimeri’s disease.
Program Overview
Meet Enid, Archie, Dave and Maureen.
Each are experiencing varying levels of forgetfulness, disorientation and confusion. All are concerned they may have Alzheimer’s disease.
At your initial consulation, you will assess their symptoms and cognitive tests, determine next steps in their diagnosis and treatment, and learn how to optimize current and evolving standards of care.
Each case has 5 questions that you can answer at your own pace. Start, stop and resume the activity as your schedule allows.
Learning Objectives
After participating in the activity, learners should be better able to:
- Recognize symptoms of early Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and recommend evidence-based tactics for its accurate diagnosis
- Discuss the mechanisms of action, efficacy-safety data and target populations for available and evolving therapies for early AD
- Develop comprehensive care plans for patients exhibiting symptoms of early AD

Instructions for Participation and Credit
There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity. During the period January 31, 2025 through January 31, 2026, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) study the educational activity, 3) complete the posttest by recording the best answer to each question, and 4) complete the evaluation form.
A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed posttest with a score of 70% or better. Statements of credit will be emailed to the participant.
