PrEP Uptake and Delivery: Strategies for Reducing Barriers in Rural and Underserved Communities

Despite its proven benefits over the past decade, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) remains widely underutilized for HIV prevention, especially in rural and underserved populations. In this two-part CME/CE series, Dr. Onyema Ogbuagu and Dr. Cody Chastain will review the latest information and guidance on PrEP and how to implement it in practice. Strategies for improving PrEP uptake and adherence and best practices for engaging in routine conversations about sexual health will also be discussed.

This series is provided by Talem Health and RME Collaborative in partnership with the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center.
