Optimizing Outcomes for Patients With HIV: Best Practices for Patient-Centered Conversations
Engaging patients in open conversations about HIV is critical to build trust and encourage ongoing care and management. In this three-part CME/CE series, expert faculty will demonstrate various clinical encounters to illustrate best practices for leading informative, nonjudgmental discussions about HIV, including how to address concerns surrounding transmission, side effects, barriers to adherence, and more. The activities will also highlight ways to reduce stigma, address patients’ clinical and social needs, and improve retention in HIV care.
This series is provided by Talem Health and RME Collaborative in collaboration
with the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center.
