Ending the HIV Epidemic:
Strategies to Increase PrEP Uptake in Rural and Underserved Communities
The burden of HIV remains high in rural and underserved parts of the US, underscoring the continued need for HIV prevention efforts. In this four-part CME/CE series, Dr. Paul Sax and Dr. Gregory “Grey” Felzien will discuss the latest guidance for implementing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) into clinical practice and best practices for assessing HIV risk through sexual history-taking and testing. Strategies for overcoming barriers to PrEP uptake and adherence in rural and underserved populations will also be reviewed.
This series is jointly provided by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and RME Collaborative in collaboration with the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center.
