Eliminating HIV Stigma in the Healthcare Setting: A Patient-Centered Response
Despite significant progress in the treatment and prevention of HIV, stigma remains highly prevalent in rural and underserved communities. In this three-part CME/CE series, expert faculty will guide learners through different demonstrations for creating a stigma-free practice setting with the goal of improving engagement, retention, and medication adherence among people living with HIV. Ways for clinical and nonclinical staff to be responsive to the unique needs of these patients and provide culturally competent care will also be reviewed.
This series is provided by Talem Health and RME Collaborative in collaboration
with the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center.
