These educational activities are designed for neurologists, pediatric neurologists, global pharmacists, specialty nurses, genetic counselors, medical geneticists, and other physicians involved in multidisciplinary care teams for DMD management.
Program Overview
This enduring activity focuses on improving the care of patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) with regard to effective diagnosis, referral, and treatment. Additionally, the faculty will aim to present standardized strategies for effective care coordination between DMD multidisciplinary care team members.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Develop standardized strategies for effective care coordination between DMD multidisciplinary care team members
- Improve care for patients with DMD facing barriers to effective diagnosis, referral, and treatment cancers to maximize patient outcomes through proper sequencing of therapy
