Program Overview
Chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGvHD) is a common, multi-symptom complication of allogeneic transplantation that severely affects patient well-being. While the medical systems and resources differ between academic and community healthcare settings, clinicians practicing in both environments would benefit from education about recent clinical updates so they can incorporate them into cGvHD management and better anticipate their patients’ needs.
Join a panel of hematology/oncology experts, Dr. Zachariah DeFilipp and Dr. Andrew Rogers, to review newly released safety and efficacy data from the recent TANDEM 2024 meeting. Panelists will explore data on existing and emerging therapeutic approaches to manage cGvHD, while discussing the application of these data in both academic and community practice settings.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Review recent evidence for the safety and efficacy of existing and emerging therapies to manage chronic GvHD
- Discuss the applicability of clinical updates in chronic GvHD to the academic and community settings
