Talking About Sexual Health and HIV Prevention With Your Patients

Prevention plays a key role in reducing HIV transmission, yet stigma surrounding the condition and difficulty navigating conversations about sexual health can present challenges. This three-part activity series will utilize real-world patient case scenarios to demonstrate how to engage patients in open and nonjudgmental discussions about sexual health and history. Strategies for recommending PrEP when appropriate and ensuring patients receive appropriate testing, follow-up care, and counseling will also be discussed.

This series is jointly provided by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and RME Collaborative in collaboration with the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center.
