Program Overview
Dermatology expert Hilary Baldwin, MD, delves into the management of pediatric facial and truncal acne addressing practical management strategies to optimize patient-centered treatment success. In addition to discussing the impact of acne on health-related quality of life and sequelae, Dr. Baldwin summarizes the pathophysiologic basis for treatment. She reviews the topical and systemic treatment options and highlights key concepts in reduction of antibiotic use, minimization of antibiotic resistance, and strategies to minimize adverse events as well as improve patient tolerability and adherence.
