Program Overview
The PER FAQ™ is an innovative video-based activity that features a clinical expert answering questions submitted by learners who participated in a related PER Postgame™ activity. It is intended to provide useful commentary about important research-related or point-of-care focused questions that many clinicians face in daily practice. This activity is based on the PER Postgame™ activity, MS Meeting Updates: Integrating the Latest Data to Optimize Care in the COVID-19 Era, that reviews abstracts that were presented at relevant 2022 annual MS meetings regarding emerging biomarkers, clinical trial data for current and emerging disease-modifying therapies, and the impact of COVID-19 on MS management decisions.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe currently available molecular biomarkers/other key indicators of MS and their role in early differential diagnosis and monitoring disease progression
- Evaluate recent efficacy and safety data of current and emerging DMTs for the optimal treatment of patients with MS
- Discuss the impact of DMTs on anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccine response in patients with MS
