Webinar Overview:

This interactive case-based activity requires clinicians to make real-world decisions as they optimize diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for patients with suspected Alzheimer’s disease. 

Throughout the activity practitioners will have the opportunity to immediately implement expert guidance and evaluate performance while addressing challenging questions about the latest clinical data and evidence-based recommendations. 

Topics addressed include: 

  1. Target patient populations
  2. Differential diagnosis
  3. Therapeutic selection and considerations
  4. Identifying and addressing common management obstacles

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:  

  • Review key clinical characteristics of Alzheimer’s disease and recommend strategies for its early and accurate diagnosis
  • Differentiate mechanisms of action, benefit-risk profiles and target patient populations for available and investigational treatments for Alzheimer’s disease
  • Individualize disease management decisions for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, taking into consideration personal and clinical factors that may influence therapeutic selection and response

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, registered nurses and other healthcare professionals who specialize or have an interest in Alzheimer’s disease, neurology, and geriatrics.
