At AHC Media, LLC (“AHC Media,” “we” or “us”) we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the following AHC Media websites: ahcmedia.com, ahcpub.com, cmeweb.com, freecme.com, and cmecity.com (collectively referred to herein as the “Sites”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect on the Sites and in e-mail or other electronic communications between you and the Sites. It does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by AHC Media (other than the Sites) or any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) we may link to or which may be accessible from the Sites. To the extent the Sites contain links to other websites. AHC Media is not responsible for the privacy policies of such sites.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Sites. By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to this policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Sites after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

The Sites are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to the Sites. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Site. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

When you visit any of the Sites, we may automatically collect certain data about your visit that do not make you personally identifiable to us, such as the IP address associated with your visit, your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Sites and usage details. We may use this sort of non-personally identifiable data collected from you and other users to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics.   • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To independent contractors, vendors and suppliers and other third parties we use to support our business (collectively, “Outside Contractors”), such as credit card processing and fraud screening, order fulfillment and shipment, mailing publications and other materials, hosting and maintaining the Sites, and developing applications for the Sites. The access we grant to your personal information to Outside Contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary in order for these Outside Contractors to perform their functions for us. We also require that these Outside Contractors (i) protect the privacy of your personal information consistent with this policy, and (ii) not use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than providing us with products or services for which we contracted.
  • We may merge your information collected on the Sites with similar data obtained from third parties. We may use this enhanced personal information for marketing purposes, such as to notify you of special offers, updated information and new products and services from AHC Media.
  • We may disclose your personal information to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of AHC Media's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by AHC Media about the Sites’ users is among the assets transferred.

CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION

If you do not wish to have your contact information used by AHC Media to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out by contacting us at info@freeCME.com. If we have sent you a promotional e-mail, you may send us a return e-mail asking to be omitted from future e-mail distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided by AHC Media as a result of a product purchase, product service experience or other transactions.
  • Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use personal information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by contacting us at info@freeCME.com.

SECURITY

AHC Media seeks to protect against unauthorized access to individuals' personal information. We seek to protect all personal information using appropriate encryption technologies, and we seek to handle your personal information securely within AHC Media. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL/TLS technology.       

The safety and security of your personal information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Sites. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Sites.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat personal information, we will notify you by e-mail to the primary e-mail address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the applicable Site’s home page. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address for you, and for periodically visiting our Website and this privacy policy to check for any changes.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
